The "DIGIT VIRGO II" pump  is fully automated. It is controlled electronically with a program for setting up the air alternation in the air chambers of the air mattress and with sensor that measures the weight of the patient. It bears an indication of the cycle time and the pressure range. It features an "alarm" beeping sound  in case of loss of air. It features a static/alternating operation. In the static operation the air mattress surface is stabilized to facilitate the change of the position of the patient or his rest in a seating position, avoiding any slippage. It also features an "auto firm" operation during which the air supply to the air mattress is maximized and the surface is stabilized, in order to take care of the patient. It automatically returns to normal operation after 30 minutes.
